Holiday Decorating Contest
The Community Relations Board (CRB) is excited to see what you have planned this year. Judging will be held on the evening of Friday, December 20 Saturday, December 21. If you’d like to be considered, please keep your lights on until 10:00 p.m. on that date.
For the categories of "Traditional" and "Whimsical", first, second, third, and honorable mention will be awarded. Submit your nomination for the "Residents' Choice Award" by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19. Please include your name and your Pantego address (home or business) as only one vote is allowed per address. If you were a first-place winner last year, thank you for understanding that you cannot win first place two years in a row.

PPD TOY AND FOOD DRIVE
Saturday, November 30 through Wednesday, December 18, PPD is collecting donations of unwrapped toys, non-perishable foods, and gift cards. Santa will be collecting donated toys during the Candy Cane Parade on December 8. You can also drop off items in the station lobby (2600 Miller Lane), which is open 24 hours a day, or at any of these locations during regular business hours:
BIKES FOR MISSION ARLINGTON
Bikes for Mission Arlington provides bicycles to children in need every Christmas. Please bring a youth bike and a helmet, and join us on Saturday, December 14 at 9:00 a.m. in the Park Row West shopping center (2229 W Park Row Drive). Pantego Police and Fire Departments will escort us to Mission Arlington to deliver the bikes and see their Christmas store where families can shop for gifts at no cost.
SANTA FOR SENIORS
PPD is proud to present the first year of "Santa for Seniors". Beginning December 3, stop by the station (2600 Miller Lane) to adopt a senior from our tree. We have a personalized shopping list for each senior on the tree. You can turn in your gifts anytime before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20.
Join us for "A Pantego Christmas" on Sunday, December 8. Santa’s Candy Cane Parade will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the corner of Bowen and Winewood. A full parade route will be announced soon. Afterward, Santa and his reindeer will be at Bicentennial Park from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for photos and to hear what's on everyone's wish list. But that’s just the beginning. We’ll also have:
