Join us for "A Pantego Christmas" on Sunday, December 8. Santa’s Candy Cane Parade will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the corner of Bowen and Winewood. A full parade route will be announced soon. Afterward, Santa and his reindeer will be at Bicentennial Park from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for photos and to hear what's on everyone's wish list. But that’s just the beginning. We’ll also have:

Holiday Decorating Contest
The Community Relations Board (CRB) is excited to see what you have planned this year. Judging will be held on the evening of Friday, December 20. If you’d like to be considered, please keep your lights on until 10:00 p.m. on that date.
For the categories of "Traditional" and "Whimsical", first, second, third, and honorable mention will be awarded. Submit your nomination for the "Residents' Choice Award" by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19. Please include your name and your Pantego address (home or business) as only one vote is allowed per address. If you were a first-place winner last year, thank you for understanding that you cannot win first place two years in a row.

Mayor Brewster and the Council always look forward to the Red Kettle Mayoral Challenge, a one-day competition to see which North Texas community can raise the most. You can donate online or plan to stop by Walmart Neighborhood Market (at Pioneer and Bowen) on Saturday, December 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can also find countertop kettles at the following locations: TO BE ANNOUNCED! PPD TOY AND FOOD DRIVE
Beginning November 30, donations of unwrapped toys, non-perishable foods, and gift cards are being collected by the Pantego Police Department to benefit local families in need. You can drop off items in the lobby of the Larry W. Smith Law Enforcement Center (2600 Miller Lane), which is open 24 hours a day, or at any of these locations during regular business hours: TO BE ANNOUNCED!
