City Engineer

Joyce P. Stanton is currently serving as the Town’s City Engineer.  She is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas.  She was first employed at Di Sciullo-Terry, Stanton & Associates, Inc. (DTS) in 1985 and left in 1989.  Ms. Stanton returned to DTS in September of 2000 and became the majority owner in August of 2003.  During the first two years of her leave from DTS she worked for another consultant designing site improvements for both renovations to existing and new construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.  This included grading, drainage, utilities and paving.  Following these two years, she worked for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) providing oversight in the permitting program and regulation development at the Dallas Regional Office.  At DTS Ms. Stanton reviews any engineering and platting projects for the Town of Pantego as well as designs projects involving site design for student housing for universities, land development, municipal streets and drainage, municipal water and wastewater, and school improvements.  She has over 25 years experience as a civil engineer and approximately six years of experience in surveying. 

Ms. Stanton received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1985.  She and her family live in Pantego.  She is an active member of the Arlington Rotary Club.  She is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors.
