• Routine maintenance, operation, monitoring, repair, and capital replacement planning for all buildings, streets, parks, and other public facilities and infrastructure systems
• Quality water at sufficient pressure and supply to meet all residential and commercial demands for drinking, irrigation, home and personal care, and fire protection
• Maintenance and clearing of wastewater lines and prevention of inflow and infiltration (I&I)
• Courteous customer service and utility billing including meter reading, invoicing, and service calls and changes
• Public awareness of fat, oils, and grease (FOG) prevention, water conservation, and other initiatives
• Clear, effective, and appropriate traffic control signage, signals, and markings to protect public safety
• Effective stormwater drainage and collection
• Rapid response to emergencies, no matter the time of day or night
• Animal control and licensing
• Knowledge of and compliance with all county, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Mosquito control, testing, and abatement
