Pantego Public Works provides professional community-oriented services that preserve and protect the unique quality of life enjoyed by those who live, work, and play in our community. We are committed to providing the following in a safe, reliable, and timely manner:
- Routine maintenance, operation, monitoring, repair, and capital replacement planning for all buildings, streets, parks, and other public facilities and infrastructure systems
- Quality water at sufficient pressure and supply to meet all residential and commercial demands for drinking, irrigation, home and personal care, and fire protection
- Maintenance and clearing of wastewater lines and prevention of inflow and infiltration (I&I)
- Courteous customer service and utility billing including meter reading, invoicing, and service calls and changes
- Public awareness of fat, oils, and grease (FOG) prevention, water conservation, and other initiatives
- Clear, effective, and appropriate traffic control signage, signals, and markings to protect public safety
- Effective stormwater drainage and collection
- Rapid response to emergencies, no matter the time of day or night
- Animal control and licensing
- Knowledge of and compliance with all county, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Mosquito control, testing, and abatement
