Public Works

The Town of Pantego is partnering with Tarrant County for an asphalt overlay project on Arrowhead Drive, Edgar Street, and Newsom Court, which is scheduled to begin on January 6, 2025. The project is expected to take 2-3 months depending on weather conditions. Newsom and Edgar will be completed before work begins on Arrowhead.

Workers are expected to be in the area Mondays through Thursdays, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. Curbside parking will be restricted during these working hours. Please utilize driveways and garages, as any vehicles parked curbside during working hours will be subject to towing. Residents are also encouraged to limit irrigation to prevent runoff for the duration of this project.

For safety, flaggers will be positioned during working hours at the intersections of Edgar at Stagecoach and Newsom at Arrowhead. Residents in these areas may also experience minor delays lasting approximately 15 to 20 minutes which may prevent entry or exit from driveways or the crossing of intersections. We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue improving our roadways.
