Public Works

The Town of Pantego is partnering with Tarrant County to resurface Newsom Court and Edgar Street (Phase 1), followed by Arrowhead Drive (Phase 2) beginning Monday, January 6, 2025. An updated notice will be provided before work begins on Arrowhead. The project is expected to take 2 – 3 months, weather permitting.

NO ON-STREET PARKING DURING WORKING HOURS
Designated working hours are Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On-street (curbside) parking is prohibited in the project zone during working hours. Please utilize driveways, garages, or on-street parking on adjacent streets, if necessary. Vehicles parked curbside during working hours are subject to towing at the owner's expense.

TRAFFIC CONTROL AND DELAYS
During working hours, safety flaggers (see map on reverse) will be at the intersections of Edgar at Stagecoach and Newsom at Arrowhead to control alternating direction single-lane traffic flow. Residents in these areas may experience delays of approximately 15 to 20 minutes during which entry or exit from driveways and/or the crossing of intersections may be obstructed.

PREVENT IRRIGATION RUNOFF
To keep this project on schedule, residents are strongly encouraged to limit and monitor irrigation. An irrigation system that leaks, sprays, or causes runoff onto impervious surfaces is always prohibited under Town Code. However, it is especially vital for the duration of this project as runoff and pooling in the roadway could cause delays. Information regarding year-round irrigation regulations is available at townofpantego.com/lawn

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue improving our infrastructure.
